Barely two months after wide critism by the Zanu PF and it’s supporters, Zimbabwean Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has slammed the government of Zimbabwe for the painful death of energetic and popular comedian Clive Chigubu.
Hopewell Chin’ono exposed the corruption of the Zimbabwean Government at a summit that was held in Switzerland and even highlighted how the big wigs were enjoying lavish life nd expensive cars and allowances while the Zimbabwean public hospitals have not even one working cancer machine in the country. He expressed how Zimbabwean health system is dilapidated and in a poor state leading to the death of many citizens.
A young and promising men was robbed off the nation in the early hours of today due to Cancer. Clive could have fought the deadly disease but because of Zanu PF looting and corrupt activities, he died a miserable death without even getting the chance to be treated of cancer.
Hopewell took to social media and said:
“Zimbabwean comedian Clive Chigubu died a painful death from cancer.
He could not walk, he couldn’t talk properly anymore and struggled to breath, and more importantly, he couldn’t afford private care.
Zimbabwe doesn’t have a single working cancer machine in ALL public hospitals.
These are the direct consequences and outcomes of ZANUPF LOOTING.
When we demand cancer machines, we are told to be patriotic!
How many more Clives have to die before this is fixed?
Below is one of Clive’s last interviews carried in the Government controlled newspaper which skillfully avoided mentioning that there are no working cancer machines in Zimbabwe!”
