The incoming president of Zambia, Hikainde Hichilema has invited the opposition leader in Zimbabwe and DA’s Mmusi Maimane to his inauguration this Tuesday in the capital city of Lusaka.
Maimane who was once denied entry into Zambia while traveling to attend Hichilema’s court case will be representing an organization of opposition parties vying for democracy in the continent.
During an interview on SABC News, Nelson Chamisa commended Zambia’s state institutions for allowing a smooth transition of power hence facilitating democracy.
