Barcelona have bowed out of the la Liga title race after a dramatic comeback suffered at the hands of Celta Vigo saw them losing 2-1 at the Camp Nou.
Their Captain Lionel Messi found the net in the 28th minute giving a ray of hope to the home team who looked more dangerous and on top of the game in the beginning stages of the first half.
Celta Vigo where also threatening with quite a few chances before their eventual break through on the 38th minute courtesy of Santo Mina who gave the visitors a half time draw.
Barça suffered a major blow in the second half with defender C. Lenglet sent away in the 83rd minute after obtaining a second yellow card for a dangerous tackle from behind.
Santo Mina who found the net twice had the last laugh in the 89th minute scoring a stunner which had come off the post to seal the 2-1 win and also got to be crowned King of the Match.
Barça loss left them 7 points adrift of Atletico Madrid who are first placed with 83 points. Barça now contests for the third place with Sevilla currently on 74 points.
Real Madrid on the other hand is still in the contest trailing Atletico with only two points into the final match day.
